Small house = twins in one room. There are toy issues and messes and a mommy who covets big closets, bonus rooms, and open floor space. However, it's not all bad. For example, sharing a room leads to lots of talking between K and C at bedtime. We enjoy listening to them tell stories and laugh together, but there's a point each night when they have to be forced to be quiet and go to sleep. Tonight during 'the threatening hour' I told them that it would be nice when we got a bigger house so they could have their own rooms. C said, "I don't want my own room. Own rooms are scary." I love that they are such good friends, that they always have a companion, that they make each other laugh, and that they make each other feel safe. Tonight I'm thankful for the love they have for each other. Perhaps a small house = great place to develop close relationships.
